Lindsey & Frank

I'm so happy to start my blog on such a great note! Lindsey & Frank were my last wedding of 2007, and they are incredibly fun people! They live down in Texas (not too far from my parents, oddly enough) but had their ceremony and reception at the Grain Exchange in Milwaukee. It's a gorgeous location that was made even more fabulous by the beautiful winter decorations used for the wedding. Everything was so unique - the table names, the bells to ring for the couple to kiss, even the gorgeous cake topper. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the details. It was beautiful.

Being such a fan of the unplanned photos, it's not often that I can say that the posed photos were one of my favorite parts of the day. However, I had a blast taking these! Lindsey & Frank decided to have their photos taken at the Milwaukee Public Museum, and it was really great to shoot posed formal photos in such an interesting location. The museum was open when we were there, so it was also fun to see the reaction of the visitors (especially wide-eyed little girls excited to see a beautiful bride amid the dinosaurs). Fabulous!

Check out some of the photos below:

The Grain Exchange Room is absolutely gorgeous. Even the floor is amazing!

Lindsey received many a smooch that day.

How many people can say they were able to have their wedding photos taken:

...in front of some skeletons....

...in the rainforest and...

...with a couple of zebras?

Lindsey and Frank kept the Christmas Carol theme going with these "jingle bells." Great idea!

The cakes were gorgeous!

Lindsey and Frank started the dancing...

...and the kids took it from there. Doesn't it look like she's doing the worm?

After a little while, the grown-ups joined in.
